Meet the Chiropractor
Dr. Amanda Choong, BHK, DC

Dr. Amanda Choong earned her Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor before completing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2012.

With a background in sports and an active lifestyle, Dr. Choong was drawn to chiropractic after witnessing its powerful impact on recovery, performance, and overall function. Her professional interest became deeply personal when she struggled with intense daily headaches. While traditional chiropractic care provided relief, it was NUCCA (National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association) care that significantly reduced the frequency and intensity of her headaches and transformed her quality of life.

That experience solidified her commitment to helping others achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their health.

Dr. Choong focuses on individualized, function-based care with an emphasis on restoring balance, reducing strain on the nervous system, and supporting long-term wellbeing. She values collaboration and works closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care.

She has practiced in Ontario, Manitoba, and Washington State before establishing her practice in Calgary, Alberta. This diverse clinical experience has shaped her thoughtful, patient-centered approach.

Dr. Choong is proud to serve as co-owner of Full Circle, where she helps lead a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment grounded in evidence-informed care and long-term patient outcomes.

She continues to pursue advanced training and professional development to refine her skills and stay current in upper cervical and functional healthcare.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Choong enjoys spending time in the mountains with her family, running with her dogs, and staying active in the Calgary community.
